Cerid runs on your own machine. Your documents, embeddings, knowledge graph, memory, and metadata stay there. They are not sent to this website. When you run a query, only the context you choose is sent to the model provider you configure, or nothing leaves the machine if you run a local model.

This website does not receive the contents of your knowledge base. You hold the data, the model-provider keys, and the retention settings.

cerid.ai collects little. Sentry may record an error trace and the browser details needed to read it. The site does not sell personal data, and it does not take a card.

If you write to hello@cerid.ai, that message is ordinary email. It is not stored by this website.

This website is hosted on Vercel. Sentry receives error reports. A model provider you connect from your own install is your choice, under that provider's terms.

Knowledge-base data lives on your install. You export or delete it there. A question about this website goes to hello@cerid.ai.

A material change to this page updates the effective date above.
